You Already Have Free Partition Software for Windows XP

The Windows Operating Systems keep surprising me (in good and bad ways;)). Today I was preparing another XP Tip and Trick and I found this. I didn’t know this but not only Windows Vista has free partition software but also Windows XP although it is limited.
This is how to use your own Windows XP inbuilt free partition software.

• Go to Start
• Click on all programs
• Open run
• Type in “compmgmt.msc” (without the “”) and click on OK or press enter.

• Click on Storage – Disk Management and you’ll see your hard disks.

Right click on the hard disks that you want to manage and you’ll see several options that you can use.
