LONDON - A seven-year-old boy nearly buying an original Harrier jet aircraft worth 69.999 billion pounds, or approximately Rp1.
The boy from London was pressing the "buy now" on auction site to buy a jet plane.
His father was quickly mengubungi buyer and explained that her son would not be able to buy billions of these aircraft because they do not have any money.
"His father contact us and apologized, so the plane is still for sale. We also put on auction, so it will not happen again like that," said spokesman Art Jet Aviation, as reported by Orange, on Monday (07/02/2011).
British-made plane was destined for the national arsenal, but ultimately the government release the aircraft in 1997.
Chris Wilson (33), one of the former RAF mechanic said that the British military history can be lost.
"This aircraft could be out of the country and bought a company. There are several museums in the UK who want this plane, but the museum in this country all go bankrupt," he said.
Harrier Jump Jet Aircraft T-Bird Aircraft which is currently sold XW269 was last in space in 1997. Now the plane was already off the air and the engine had been moved.
Wilson said that the plane can still be used again to fly, but the costs will be very expensive.
"It costs could reach billions of pounds and for legal reasons, we can not sell the aircraft can still fly," he said adding that this is one of six planes left. (RHS)
